About the role

The Shift Engineer will ensure safe, reliable and continuous operation of pump stations, sludge storage facilities and related mechanical equipment in Ağdərə. The role involves planning, supervising and reporting on preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise scheduled and emergency maintenance of pumps, engines, pipelines, valves and other mechanical systems.
• Monitor technical condition of equipment in the sludge storage facility to guarantee uninterrupted operation.
• Detect faults promptly, investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Determine spare‑part requirements, prepare lists and participate in the ordering process.
• Oversee execution of technical inspections and preventive service schedules.
• Read and apply technical documentation, schematics and drawings.
• Prepare maintenance reports and track equipment performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, industrial safety and environmental protection regulations.
• Coordinate with production, technical service and other relevant departments.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Automation, Water Management or a related field.
• Relevant work experience is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics and drawings for pumps, engines and mechanical equipment.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player capable of making operational decisions.
• Responsibility, attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Preference for candidates from Bərdə, Ağdam, Tərtər, Ağdərə or nearby areas; displaced persons are given priority.
