Control & Instrumentation Designer

About the role

If you are passionate about Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Design, have energy industry experience, or have transferable skills, we would love to hear from you. Reporting to the Lead C&I Designer, you will execute project work in line with PD&MS procedures, within budget and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for progress reporting.
• Consult with and take direction from assigned Instrument Engineers.
• Develop detailed design drawings and document packages from offshore reports.
• Prepare block diagrams, termination diagrams, loop diagrams, cable schedules, hydraulic/pneumatic process hook‑ups and bills of materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and prior experience in detailed design.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of CAD drafting techniques and instrumentation materials and methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
• Computer literacy with database and tag‑data tool spreadsheets.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and address operational and maintenance issues in design.
