Well Integrity Team Leader

About the role

The Well Integrity Team Leader provides technical leadership and assurance for the integrity management of wells throughout their lifecycle, safeguarding personnel safety, environmental performance, and asset reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Well Integrity Management, establishing operating envelopes, acceptance criteria and lifecycle strategies from commissioning to abandonment.
• Oversee Well Barrier Management, maintaining schematics, assessing barrier condition and ensuring functionality of primary and secondary barriers.
• Develop and run well integrity surveillance programs, analysing pressure data, inspection results and production trends to detect anomalies.
• Manage Wellhead and Christmas Tree integrity programmes, reviewing inspections, maintenance, testing and equipment degradation.
• Lead investigations of integrity incidents, conduct root‑cause analyses and define remediation and preventive actions.
• Perform risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, Bowtie, etc.), recommend mitigation measures and support Management of Change processes.
• Provide multidisciplinary engineering support for completion, production, intervention, workover and plug‑and‑abandonment activities.
• Support technical authority and governance, reviewing standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting best practices.
