Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Azerbaijan

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead all finance and accounting functions for FINCA Azerbaijan, reporting directly to the CEO. The role focuses on driving financial performance, cost efficiency, liquidity, and alignment with the organization’s mission of inclusive finance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and presentation of financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards.
• Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, solvency, and asset utilization to ensure long‑term financial resilience.
• Ensure compliance with global FINCA finance and accounting policies and standards.
• Participate in the senior management team to shape strategic direction and impact.
• Report to the global CFO of FINCA Impact Finance and contribute to global finance forums.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience, preferably in microfinance or banking.
• Proven track record in financial planning, reporting, and cost optimisation.
• Strong understanding of both local and international accounting standards.
• Ability to align financial decisions with social impact objectives.
