Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead daily procurement activities and ensure the timely supply of materials and services for uninterrupted production. The role works closely with Production, Warehouse, Logistics and Quality teams to coordinate sourcing, ordering and supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare purchase requests, source suppliers and issue purchase orders.
• Negotiate commercial terms, obtain quotations and compare prices.
• Coordinate with internal departments to guarantee material availability.
• Process procurement requests, monitor order status and maintain accurate ERP records.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on quarterly forecasts for consumables and services.
• Ensure proper documentation of contracts, delivery notes and invoices.
• Work with Accounting to facilitate timely supplier payments.
• Investigate and resolve delivery delays, quantity discrepancies or quality issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and prepare weekly procurement reports.
• Maintain compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in mining, manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Professional procurement certification is a plus.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Russian is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel on business trips.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Sage or Oracle.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in using procurement software and managing supplier contracts.
