Director, Food & Beverage

About the role

The Director of Food & Beverage leads the hotel’s entire Food & Beverage division, overseeing restaurants, bars, banquets and in‑room dining. This senior position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence and strong financial performance. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on management to uphold luxury brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in‑room dining.
• Develop and implement F&B strategies aligned with the hotel’s business objectives and luxury brand standards.
• Drive revenue, profitability and cost‑control initiatives across the department.
• Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, service, presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, motivate and develop F&B managers and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and service excellence.
• Monitor departmental budgets, forecasts, payroll, food and beverage costs and overall financial performance.
• Develop innovative menus, concepts, promotions and guest experiences in collaboration with the culinary team.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety regulations.
• Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, business partners and other hotel departments.
• Analyse guest feedback and operational performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a senior Food & Beverage leadership role within a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and people‑management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of F&B operations, financial management and revenue optimisation.
• Proven ability to develop high‑performing teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Creative, commercially minded and passionate about hospitality.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
