Waiter – Full‑Time Hospitality Role

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Waiter in Baku, delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a luxury hotel environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages according to service standards.
• Set tables for various events and maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware.
• Answer guest questions about menu selections and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Check in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related waitstaff experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unassisted and heavier items with assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system.
