Laboratory Technician – Chemistry (Associate)

About the role

Join Halliburton as an entry‑level Laboratory Technician in Chemistry, supporting prototype and laboratory testing under direct supervision. You will gain hands‑on experience with chemical hygiene procedures, safety standards, and basic equipment across electrical, electronic, chemical and mechanical domains.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and follow the chemical hygiene plan and HSE laboratory safety standards.
• Perform prototype or laboratory tests according to prescribed procedures.
• Assist in building and operating basic electrical, electronic, chemical, and mechanical test equipment.
• Document test data accurately for reporting purposes.
• Maintain files and documentation related to test equipment and results.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with at least eight (8) hours of college chemistry coursework (preferred).
• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
• Willingness to learn and work under supervision.

Required skills

• Basic laboratory testing techniques.
• Familiarity with chemical hygiene procedures.
• Operation of basic electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment.
