Director of Revenue and Reservations

About the role

The Director of Revenue and Reservations leads the Reservations department of an Accor‑affiliated hotel, ensuring outstanding guest service while driving revenue performance across all distribution channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Reservations department and oversee all room revenue streams.
• Control inventory (transient, group, wholesale) and implement pricing strategies across branded web, third‑party sites and GDS.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing on promotions, pricing, and contracting.
• Monitor and optimize B2B and B2C distribution channels, yielding, and competitor set STR and OTA rates.
• Participate in monthly forecasting, yearly budgeting, and revenue meetings.
• Coordinate with the Rooms department on upgrades, out‑of‑service rooms, and peak‑period planning.
• Lead, train, evaluate and schedule Reservations and Revenue staff, conducting performance reviews and incentive programs.
• Ensure SOP compliance, conduct regular audits of CRS, GDS, OTAs and third‑party sites for rate and availability accuracy.
• Maintain strong relationships with all supporting departments and address staff concerns promptly.

• Proven experience managing hotel reservations and revenue functions.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with sales, rooms and other departments.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and exceed guest expectations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRS (Central Reservation System).
• Knowledge of GDS (Global Distribution System) platforms.
• Experience managing OTA (Online Travel Agency) integrations.
