About the role

We are looking for a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability, performance and scalability of our micro‑service based applications. The role will define and implement service level indicators (SLI) and objectives (SLO), build observability dashboards, and mentor engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and monitor SLI/SLO for micro‑service applications.
• Build and improve informative panels, metrics and alerting mechanisms.
• Continuously enhance system observability to reduce mean‑time‑to‑resolution and support proactive incident detection.
• Set high reliability standards, conduct code reviews, train engineers and influence architecture and deployment processes.
• Contribute to the development and adoption of a structured on‑call support process.
• Investigate, resolve and perform root‑cause analysis of incidents and operational anomalies.
• Identify repetitive or manual tasks (toil) and create scripts or automation solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA and Platform teams to embed reliability, scalability and security into system design.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new technologies and recommend tools or approaches that improve system resilience and operational excellence.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Linux and familiarity with networking systems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java (preferred) or Go.
• Knowledge of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), load balancers, databases and storage systems in large‑scale distributed environments.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and eagerness to learn new problem‑solving techniques.
