Visa Officer (Arabic Speaker) – Baku

About the role

VFS Global, a leading visa‑processing partner for diplomatic missions worldwide, is seeking a dynamic Visa Officer to join its Baku Visa Application Centre. The role involves managing visa applications, handling biometric data and ensuring smooth coordination with consulates. You will work on‑site, interacting directly with applicants and ensuring compliance with consular standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process visa applications accurately and ensure all procedures are followed flawlessly.
• Handle biometric data (fingerprints), perform data entry and follow up on required documents.
• Be present for passport dispatches to the respective consulate when needed.
• Coordinate with consulates, adhering to their principles and guidelines.
• Support office operations and collaborate effectively with the assigned department.

Required profile

• Disciplined, organized and a strong team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Arabic and English (mandatory).
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Effective time‑management and multitasking capabilities.
• Preferably experienced in customer service.
• Residency in Baku.
