Travel & Procurement Intern – Caspian Region

About the role

You will join the Baku Travel & Procurement team at Boston Consulting Group, providing administrative, analytical, and strategic support for travel and procurement functions across Caspian offices. You will work closely with senior colleagues, under the supervision of the local Travel & Procurement Senior Specialist, and report to a Senior Manager based in Milan while collaborating with legal, compliance, and external travel agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, conduct pre‑screening of suppliers, identify risks, and evaluate current and potential vendors.
• Develop and maintain an effective filing system for contracts.
• Assist the Procurement team with day‑to‑day activities such as payments, expense report submission, and follow‑ups with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support new and ongoing projects related to travel and procurement.
• Maintain good relationships with travel partners and suppliers.

Required profile

• University degree completed or in progress (3rd or 4th year) in Economics or a Business‑related field; prior procurement experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Cooperative team player with an open‑minded, positive attitude.
