Auditor

About the role

The auditor will take part in the implementation of the approved annual audit plan and assignments from the Audit Committee. The role involves conducting regular, follow‑up and special audit projects for PAŞA Life Insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out medium‑complexity audit procedures to identify control deficiencies.
• Execute audit project tasks such as data collection, analysis and immediate reporting of findings to the project manager.
• Prepare written work papers documenting analyses and interviews performed in the field.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective action plans prepared by senior management.
• Participate in the preparation of audit work‑allocation and time‑reporting (Retain management) documents.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the project leader or the Director of Internal Audit within the scope of authority.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics or law (or a related field with at least four years of relevant experience).
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in a related area.
• Knowledge of audit principles and of the regulatory/legal documents governing the company’s activities.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel for assignments.
• Business‑level proficiency in Azerbaijani and English.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Windows products.
• Ability to work with specialized audit software.
