Technical Sales Specialist

About the role

Join NOV, a global leader in oil and gas technology, as a Technical Sales Specialist. You will support senior sales and engineering teams, gaining hands‑on exposure to drilling tools, rig operations, and customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior sales and engineering teams in managing customer accounts.
• Analyze drilling tool performance and prepare technical reports.
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Monitor product performance and collect field data.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and engineering to address customer needs.
• Handle basic customer inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Support the preparation of case studies, run reports, and internal documentation.
• Participate in field activities and rig‑site operations.
• Assist with logistics and internal operational processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or related engineering field.
• 0–3 years of experience, including internships or relevant projects.
• Exposure to drilling operations or oilfield services.
• Strong interest in technical sales within the oil and gas industry.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and good English communication.
• Customer‑focused mindset with teamwork and multitasking abilities.
