About the role

The Junior Specialist in the Digital Fraud Prevention department will support real‑time monitoring of banking channels, analyse alerts and incidents, and contribute to the development of preventive measures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer operations (card, internet banking, mobile banking, POS and ATM) in real time.
• Analyse alerts generated by the monitoring system and take appropriate actions.
• Investigate fraud incidents on digital channels, track trends and best practices, and propose rule changes.
• Identify risk indicators and prepare proposals to prevent recurring scenarios.
• Analyse incoming fraud requests and suspicious transactions, communicating with customers as needed.
• Implement corrective actions according to the established plan.
• Handle internal and external queries related to the team’s scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems or Information Security (preferred).
• Knowledge of banking operations, payment systems and card technologies (preferred).
• Experience in banking or fintech related to card operations, mobile banking or other payment instruments (preferred).
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, technical English proficiency, and Russian at a desired level.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ticketing tools such as JIRA and OTRS.
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle) and ability to work with DQL/DML commands.
