Learning and Development Specialist

About the role

The Learning and Development Specialist will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that support the company’s strategic objectives and employee growth. This role partners with managers and stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives are aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement learning programs aligned with strategic goals and workforce development needs.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify organizational, departmental, and individual learning requirements.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate internal and external training sessions.
• Create training materials, presentations, and learning content for various initiatives.
• Develop and continuously improve onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
• Design leadership, professional skills, and competency‑based development programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare reports on outcomes and impact.
• Collaborate with managers to support Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for employees.
• Participate in the implementation and enhancement of digital learning solutions.
• Support administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other e‑learning platforms.
• Create online courses, micro‑learning modules, video‑based materials, and interactive content.
• Organize hybrid and virtual learning programs and stay abreast of emerging digital learning trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development.
• Proven experience conducting Training Needs Analysis and designing learning programs.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Fluent communication skills in Azerbaijani and English.
• Willingness to travel on business trips when required.
