Information Security Officer

About the role

The Baku Stock Exchange is looking for a skilled Information Security Officer to protect its critical systems and data. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and international standards while continuously improving the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Administer and operate EDR, XDR, and SIEM platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide remediation recommendations.
• Investigate and document security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive process improvements.
• Develop and maintain incident‑response playbooks and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to strengthen the security posture.
• Support deployment and configuration of security monitoring and detection tools.
• Participate in security awareness and training activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Incident Response and threat investigation.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Good communication abilities.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) platforms.
• XDR (Extended Detection and Response) platforms.
• SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) technologies and log analysis.
• Vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
• Incident response processes and root‑cause analysis.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO standards.
