About the role

The company is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate the data engineering team. The role involves overseeing task planning, prioritisation, and execution while ensuring high‑quality data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the data engineering team and coordinate its activities.
• Plan, prioritise and monitor the execution of tasks.
• Define and evolve the architecture of Data Warehouse (DWH) and analytical data platforms.
• Ensure development and support of SSIS, T‑SQL and SSAS‑based data integration and analytics solutions.
• Guarantee Power BI reports and data models meet established standards.
• Lead the technical implementation of the migration to Microsoft Fabric.
• Analyse business requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.
• Support professional development of team members through mentoring and code reviews.
• Monitor data quality, security and system performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of data engineering experience.
• 1–2 years of technical leadership (Team Lead / Tech Lead) experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent Azerbaijani and technical English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced T‑SQL (Stored Procedures, Window Functions, Performance Tuning).
• SSIS for ETL development and support.
• Azure SQL / Azure Synapse DWH implementation.
• SSAS (Tabular / Multidimensional) OLAP modelling.
• Power BI (DAX, data modelling, report design).
• Tabular Editor or similar semantic model management tools.
• TFS / Azure DevOps for version control and development processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric platform migration.
