Project Quality Engineer (Nationals Only)

About the role

The Project Quality Engineer will support the development and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) for offshore oil & gas and EPC projects. The role ensures that quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and related procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external quality audits and follow‑up actions.
• Review and manage quality documentation from vendors and subcontractors.
• Track, close and report non‑conformities (NCRs) and support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Implement lessons learned, cost‑of‑non‑quality, and client‑satisfaction processes.
• Promote quality awareness, support internal training and ensure adherence to HSEQ policies.
• Collect, analyse and report project quality performance data to corporate systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Welding or a related engineering discipline (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in offshore oil & gas or EPC projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• ISO 9001:2015 certification (mandatory); CSWIP 3.1/3.2 and NDT Level II certifications (preferred).
• Strong understanding of quality documentation, QMS implementation and traceability.
• Familiarity with offshore pipeline and subsea project scopes is an advantage.
