Commissioning Engineer

About the role

PD&MS Group is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join its construction team in Baku on a long‑term, full‑time basis. The successful candidate will lead on‑site commissioning activities, ensuring that all systems are installed and tested according to approved designs and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out day‑to‑day on‑site commissioning for assigned projects.
• Produce regular project and commissioning completion reports.
• Ensure commissioning work is performed safely and in line with regulations.
• Prepare and hand over all commissioning documentation, O&M manuals and training materials.
• Coordinate tri‑party system walk‑downs and attend off‑site testing by suppliers.
• Manage change‑control procedures and compile commissioning punch‑lists.
• Support knowledge sharing and capture best‑practice lessons.
• Maintain professional development and comply with the company’s integrated management system, quality, health‑safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in commissioning, preferably on flowlines projects.
• Site experience with commissioning procedures and certification (e.g., GOC).
• Strong practical commissioning experience both on‑site and in planning.
• Offshore survival certification (BOSIET/FOET).
• Excellent written communication skills.
