About the role
The Cost Engineer (Smeta mühəndisi) will support Azinvest İnşaat in managing project cost data, ensuring accurate measurement of work volumes and controlling pricing discrepancies throughout the construction process.
Key responsibilities
- Verify project and work volume calculations (BOQ) and resolve identified inconsistencies.
- Prepare work volume tables from project contracts, specifications and other technical documents when BOQ data is unavailable.
- Collect and evaluate subcontractor proposals, compare estimated prices and perform detailed price analysis.
- Assess work volumes against current market rates to produce reliable cost estimates.
Required profile
- Proven experience in cost engineering or quantity surveying within the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, contract documentation and subcontractor pricing.
- Ability to analyse data, identify gaps and propose corrective actions.
