Production Technologist

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Production Technologist to join its Oilfield Services team. You will apply production technology expertise to multidisciplinary projects, delivering best‑in‑class solutions for clients in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform segment‑related analysis using state‑of‑the‑art techniques to develop optimal solutions.
• Lead analytical and design activities, applying proven technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate independently and within diverse teams, presenting findings to customers and internal leaders.
• Write and present industry papers, publications, and technical briefings.
• Act as a primary contact for customers on product and service offerings, understanding market size and challenges.
• Drive cross‑technology integration and develop solutions that align with overall business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s or Doctorate is a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering/technology, preferably in geoservices, subsurface, petroleum, or production engineering.
• Hands‑on knowledge of intervention methods such as wireline, coiled tubing, and stimulation.
• Experience across multiple petroleum basins and an understanding of geological and reservoir complexities.
• Fluent English communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
