Junior/Middle DevOps Engineer – Monitoring Support

About the role

We are looking for a Junior/Middle DevOps Engineer focused on monitoring support. The role is part‑time, long‑term and involves staying on‑call during assigned shifts to ensure production systems run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production systems and react to alerts, incidents, and system issues during shifts.
• Support AWS‑based cloud runtime infrastructure, including EC2 instances.
• Investigate problems using monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Perform occasional DevOps and infrastructure tasks, including service or server restarts.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and Git/Bitbucket repositories.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux‑based environments, web servers, and application runtime configurations.
• Work with dashboards, metrics, logs, and alerting systems.
• Document incidents, actions taken, and system changes as needed.

Required profile

• Junior to middle‑level experience in DevOps, SRE, Linux administration, cloud operations, or production support.
• Basic experience with AWS EC2.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Linux administration skills and basic scripting ability (Bash, Python or similar).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Git‑based tools, preferably Bitbucket.
• Ability to follow predefined instructions, escalate issues appropriately, and work responsibly during monitoring shifts.
• Availability to work during European business hours.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
