About the role

The bank is looking for a data scientist to tackle business and risk challenges such as credit scoring, product recommendation, churn analysis, pricing optimization and fraud detection. The role involves designing, prototyping, building and deploying advanced analytical models while exploring cutting‑edge advanced analytics practices.

Key responsibilities

• Apply machine learning, statistical methods and data analytics to solve defined banking problems.
• Design, prototype, implement and operationalize next‑generation analytical models.
• Research state‑of‑the‑art advanced analytics techniques and run experiments together with business and risk teams.

Required profile

• Higher technical or economic education.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimization or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with Python, R or SQL.
• Experience working with large data sets, simulation or optimization tools.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self‑motivated learner capable of working independently.
