About the role

The Internal Audit Expertise Center is seeking an auditor to conduct and manage audit projects, assess risk management, and evaluate internal control mechanisms. The role involves both remote and on‑site audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and international audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the effectiveness of processes, structures, risk management, and internal control mechanisms.
• Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Execute or manage audit projects in line with International Internal Audit Standards.
• Assess asset management, cost efficiency, and the accuracy of financial statements.
• Conduct remote and on‑site audits, perform data‑base analyses, and prepare audit observation reports with recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and participate in projects to improve internal audit activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in risk management, internal control, finance, or internal audit within banks or similar institutions.
• Relevant higher education and/or professional certifications (e.g., CIA, ACCA, CFA, DipIFR, FRM, CERM).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and independent judgment skills.
• Excellent communication abilities in Azerbaijani, English, or Russian.
• Fluent use of Microsoft Office and data‑analysis tools.
• Clean criminal record.
