Senior Specialist – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The role involves driving budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance and present insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Evaluate business performance and develop recommendations to improve financial and operational results.
• Build, maintain, and enhance financial models that support business planning and decision‑making.
• Prepare analytical reports and financial insights for strategic initiatives and executive decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field (Master's preferred).
• 4–5 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, analysis or investment.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and advanced English; Russian is a plus.
• Professional certification such as ACCA (Fundamental level) or CFA (Level I).
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (advantage).
• Hands‑on experience with financial modeling and financial forecasting.
• Practical application of IFRS.
