Senior Front End Engineer

About the role

RemoFirst is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to help build global‑scale hiring, onboarding, and payroll products. You will work remotely with an international team, turning UI/UX designs into high‑performance web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise scalable front‑end features using React.js and modern TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement accessible, maintainable code from wireframes.
• Implement responsive and adaptive designs for consistent experiences across devices.
• Own front‑end architecture and component design within your domain.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, manage data flows, and ensure performance.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, debug production issues, and improve reliability.
• Contribute to technical planning, estimation, and sprint execution.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with React.js.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with React ecosystem tools such as Redux, React Query, or Zustand.
• Solid understanding of component‑based architecture, state management, and modern front‑end patterns.
• Proven ability to build responsive, performant, and user‑friendly web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to break down complex UI challenges.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
• Fluent English communication and effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
