About the role

The Sector Manager will lead the Internal Control and Ethics department, ensuring effective organization of work, quality monitoring, and continuous improvement of internal control mechanisms across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Department Head in organizing work distribution and overseeing sector activities.
• Monitor and verify the quality of task execution by sector staff.
• Propose mechanisms for evaluating work quality and present them to the Department Head.
• Conduct analyses of company functions and processes, and suggest improvements.
• Develop and maintain a strong internal control environment, including implementation of ISO 37001 anti‑corruption standards.
• Prepare regular reports on sector performance and present them to management.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate corruption risks, supporting anti‑money‑laundering and terrorism financing controls.
• Update internal normative documents to reflect efficient mechanisms.
• Study local and international best practices and recommend innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Fluent in Azerbaijani; good command of English; Russian is a plus.
• Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are desirable.
• Knowledge of ISO 37001:2025 requirements for anti‑corruption management systems.
• Understanding of the company’s business model, especially heavy industry and mining sectors.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team‑working abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using audit and statistical analysis software.
• Ability to apply ISO 37001 compliance standards.
