Maintenance Superintendent

About the role

The Maintenance Superintendent will lead the maintenance function for a gas processing plant, ensuring reliable operation of production equipment. Reporting to the Deputy Production Manager, the role combines strategic planning, budget management and hands‑on oversight of shutdown activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve maintenance strategies for all plant fields and facilities.
• Plan and coordinate optimal hot‑work and cold‑work shutdowns to minimise production loss.
• Prepare and manage the annual OPEX and CAPEX maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures and reconcile variances.
• Analyse budget deviations, adjust forecasts and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with the GPP Section staff to align maintenance plans with production targets.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in production equipment maintenance, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale maintenance programmes and multi‑disciplinary teams.
