About the role

An established financial advisory firm in Baku, Azerbaijan is looking for a Financial Advisor to deliver strategic wealth management and financial planning advice to clients from around the world. The position is advertised as a contractor role.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver premium financial advisory services to high-net-worth and expatriate clients
• Foster long-term client partnerships through strong relationship management
• Carry out thorough financial planning reviews and in-depth client meetings
• Build comprehensive financial plans integrating investment, pension and protection solutions
• Offer cross-border planning expertise and international investment advisory services
• Manage UK pension transfer cases, QROPS advice and expatriate tax strategies
• Ensure full regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards

Required profile

• UK-recognised financial planning qualification (DipPFS, CISI Level 4, CFP or equivalent)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in client advisory within wealth management
• Understanding of investment, pension and protection solutions
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Cross-border or expatriate advisory experience is highly regarded
