Computer Science Lecturer – Full‑Time

About the role

The French‑Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) seeks a full‑time Computer Science Teacher to deliver high‑quality undergraduate lectures and seminars. The role involves adapting the UNISTRA curriculum to local requirements and supporting students throughout the learning process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in computer science.
• Design mid‑term and final exam questions and evaluate student work.
• Maintain attendance records, supervise examinations and manage Moodle course content.
• Collaborate with the department to align the curriculum with local academic standards.
• Provide guidance, resolve student issues, and supervise research projects.
• Develop innovative teaching methods and ensure timely submission of grades.

Required profile

• PhD degree or enrollment in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Azerbaijani; French is a plus.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at the bachelor level.
• Strong public speaking and communication abilities.
