Well Construction Commercial Manager

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Well Construction Commercial Manager to shape and execute commercial strategies for its well‑construction segment across multiple regions. The role partners with global cross‑functional teams, customers and internal stakeholders to deliver profitable, technically sound solutions in the oilfield services market.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product lines and geographies to align commercial strategy and secure successful bid outcomes.
• Own pricing initiatives and projects for the assigned regions, ensuring risk‑reward balance.
• Validate contract terms, technical risks, margins and payment security for multi‑country deals.
• Work with OFSE and segment sales teams to develop and maintain regional pricing strategies.
• Lead the full inquiry‑to‑order lifecycle for all product lines, handling complex commercial issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• At least 5 years in a sales or commercial role, with proven proposal experience.
• Background in drilling services, drilling & completion fluids, drill bits or completions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with project‑management experience.
