Manual QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our web, mobile, and API products. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle, contributing to high‑standard releases.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.
• Create comprehensive test cases, checklists, and test data based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
• Execute re‑testing, regression testing, and end‑to‑end user scenario validation.
• Collaborate with development teams during planning, estimation, and sprint reviews.
• Validate new functionality before product releases and verify UI/UX consistency.

Required profile

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and the Testing Pyramid.
• Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and ownership mindset.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• API testing tools: Postman, Swagger.
• Bug‑tracking system: Jira.
• Basic SQL for data validation.
• Fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (nice to have).
