Lead Lawyer – Legal Analysis & Corporate Affairs

About the role
We are looking for a Lead Lawyer to head the Legal Analysis and Corporate Affairs department. The successful candidate will provide legal research, opinions, and support the development of new banking products and projects.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on matters related to the department’s activity areas.
- Perform legal due‑diligence and expert review of new banking products, services and projects.
- Draft and review corporate legal documents and other departmental paperwork.
- Monitor legislative changes affecting banking operations and ensure compliance.
- Support continuous improvement of departmental processes.
- Provide legal opinions on queries from internal units, including those requiring detailed legal analysis of banking operations.
Required profile
- University degree in Law.
- More than 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical and analytical thinking abilities.
- Excellent command of Azerbaijani; intermediate English and Russian.
Required skills
- Proficient use of MS Word.
- Proficient use of MS PowerPoint.
