Infrastructure Solutions Engineer (Pre‑Sales & Post‑Sales)

About the role

The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer will own end‑to‑end infrastructure projects, guiding them from pre‑sales scoping and design through post‑sales deployment and handover. You will work closely with C‑level executives and technical stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑grade IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle: scoping, architecture design, BOM creation, tender response, deployment, configuration, migration and handover.
• Design and position enterprise‑grade compute, storage, virtualization, networking and data‑protection solutions using vendor portfolios such as Dell, Lenovo, NetApp, Huawei, VMware, Nutanix, Cisco, Aruba, Veeam and Red Hat.
• Generate accurate Bills of Materials and validate hardware/software compatibility with vendor configurators and sizing tools.
• Deliver technical presentations, architecture briefings and proof‑of‑concept demos to senior business and IT audiences.
• Own RFP/RFI responses, writing technical sections, scoping requirements and compiling commercial tenders.
• Oversee post‑sales implementation, integration and initial tuning to ensure seamless production transition.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in pre‑sales, solutions architecture, systems engineering or implementation within a system integrator, VAR or enterprise vendor environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.

Required skills

• Compute & server platforms: Dell PowerEdge, Lenovo ThinkSystem, Cisco UCS or equivalent.
• Enterprise storage & data protection: Dell PowerStore, NetApp, Huawei storage, Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Virtualization & OS: VMware vSphere/ESXi, Nutanix AHV, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Debian.
• Networking & Wi‑Fi: Cisco, Aruba, Huawei networking equipment.
• Proficiency with vendor configuration and sizing tools for hardware/software sizing.
