Entry-Level Sustainability Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Sustainability team, providing support on sustainability assurance and advisory projects. The role balances technical knowledge with quick learning, working with leading clients in a fast‑paced environment under the supervision of managers, directors, and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering sustainability reports in line with global frameworks such as GRI, SASB, CSRD, etc.
• Support senior team members in business development, including research and proposal preparation.
• Stay informed about current global sustainability and climate‑change trends and regulations.
• Prepare presentation materials for internal and external audiences, including desk review, summarisation, and design.
• Participate in ESG assurance engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Energy and Environmental Management, Climate Change, Environmental Science, Economics, Geography, Supply Chain, or Business.
• Understanding of sustainability principles, international standards and climate policies.
• Proficiency in managing environmental data and performing calculations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Teamwork ability, multitasking skills, self‑motivation and ambition.
• Ability to meet deadlines with high‑quality work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Azerbaijani and English.
• Ability to effectively utilise Microsoft Office tools.
