DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (IT)

About the role

Azercell is looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join its IT team. You will ensure the reliability of in‑house applications and vendor platforms, supporting 24/7 operations while contributing to the company’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 technical support for assigned applications and platforms.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve errors, minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors to design and implement solutions.
• Deploy applications to testing and production environments, performing quality checks before release.
• Configure and improve existing services, platforms and software.
• Participate in project teams and apply DevOps tools to reduce defects and incidents.

Required profile

• Higher education in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and technical research skills.
• Excellent command of Azerbaijani; advanced English; Russian is a plus.

Required skills

• Linux operating system.
• SQL.
• Scripting with Bash or Python.
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
