About the role

The bank is looking for a lead specialist to manage the business credit underwriting department. The role involves evaluating corporate and SME loan requests, conducting financial and macro‑economic analyses, and supporting the bank’s risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business loan applications from a risk perspective and provide recommendations.
• Perform financial statement reviews and detailed financial analysis of borrowers.
• Assess credit risk by conducting business and macro‑economic analyses and estimating default probability.
• Evaluate existing portfolio credits from various angles and prepare analytical reports.
• Participate in the preparation of credit analysis reports and handle additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics or banking; ACCA, CFA or FRM certifications are a plus.
• Experience in financial statement analysis and strong analytical thinking.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to work in a team and strong presentation and communication skills.
