Business Analyst – Sustainability

About the role

Deloitte Azerbaijan is looking for a Business Analyst to join its Sustainability team. You will support sustainability assurance and advisory projects, working closely with senior consultants and clients on ESG reporting and climate‑related initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing sustainability reports aligned with global frameworks such as GRI, SASB, CSRD, etc.
• Support business development activities, including research and proposal preparation.
• Monitor global sustainability trends, regulations, and climate‑change policies.
• Create presentation materials for internal and external audiences, summarising findings and designing visuals.
• Participate in ESG assurance engagements and data‑analysis tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Energy & Environmental Management, Climate Change, Environmental Science, Economics, Geography, Supply Chain, Business or related fields.
• Understanding of sustainability principles, international standards and climate policies.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage environmental data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Azerbaijani and English.
• Self‑motivated, able to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
