Accounting Clerk – Residences

About the role

The Accounting Clerk – Residences will support the financial operations of the residential community, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, timely processing of dues and invoices, and compliance with condominium policies.

Key responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of figures, postings, and documents related to residence owners, tenants and vendors.
• Organise, secure and maintain all files and records in line with company policies and condominium documents.
• Record, store and analyse computerized financial information, using journals, ledgers and accounting software.
• Prepare, audit and distribute financial, accounting and payroll reports.
• Execute period‑end closing procedures and generate required reports.
• Process residence owner association dues, manage accounts receivable and oversee collection processes.
• Process vendor invoices, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and reconcile accounts payable balances.
• Assist with ledger reconciliations and maintain up‑to‑date residence owner rosters.
• Provide courteous service to residence owners and support team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and good communication skills.
