Group Sales Manager – Local

About the role

The Group Sales Manager (local) will lead the sales team at our Baku property, ensuring brand visibility and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This full‑time position reports to senior management and works closely with operations, marketing and hospitality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Promote awareness of the brand both internally and externally.
• Prioritise and resolve outstanding guest requests or issues from the previous day.
• Receive, record and relay messages accurately and follow up to confirm guest satisfaction.
• Attend daily line‑ups, greet guests in the lobby and manage front‑desk flow as assigned.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and coaching staff.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, professional appearance standards and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals and suggest process improvements.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
