About the role

We are seeking a qualified Auditor, Lead Auditor, or Head Auditor to join our Internal Audit Expertise Center. The role involves evaluating management processes, risk controls, and compliance with regulatory and best‑practice standards, while supporting continuous improvement of internal audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the effectiveness of management processes, risk management, and internal control mechanisms.
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and leading industry practices.
• Execute or manage audit projects in line with International Internal Audit Standards.
• Evaluate asset management, cost efficiency, and the accuracy of financial statements.
• Conduct remote and on‑site audits, perform data and information‑base analysis.
• Prepare audit observation reports, recommendations, and action‑plan tracking.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
• Participate in projects aimed at organizing and enhancing internal audit functions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in internal audit, risk management, or related banking functions.
• Relevant higher education and/or professional certifications (e.g., CIA, ACCA, CFA, FRM, etc.).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and independent judgment.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous development.
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani, English, or Russian.
• Citizenship without legal restrictions.

• Data‑analysis tools such as SQL and Python.
