Corporate Sales Manager – Local

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a proactive Corporate Sales Manager to support guest relations and drive revenue through effective sales techniques. Based in Baku, you will act as a liaison between guests and internal departments, ensuring a seamless experience while promoting the Marriott brand.

Key responsibilities

• Contact appropriate departments (sales, accounting, data administration) to resolve guest inquiries and issues.
• Apply up‑selling strategies to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty.
• Process Marriott Rewards points, reservations, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax or mail.
• Enter reservation data into Marriott’s software and manage complimentary gifts for guests.
• Perform general office duties for the Sales & Marketing team, including filing, emailing, typing and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Uphold company policies, professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience in hospitality or sales.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation and rewards software.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to handle multiple requests.
• Basic office equipment operation (phone, fax, computer).
