Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Spa Receptionist provides a warm welcome and seamless service to spa guests at JW Marriott Absheron Baku. You will manage reservations, handle payments, and ensure a smooth experience for both individual clients and large groups.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule spa and salon services for individuals and groups using the reservation software.
• Confirm appointments with guests by phone and answer inquiries about available services.
• Update the reservation list throughout the day, notify providers of changes, and resolve scheduling issues with supervision.
• Check‑in guests, verify their details, and provide a brief orientation of spa facilities.
• Promote and sell spa services, process payments, and handle cash tips.
• Balance receipts, scan documents for accounting, and maintain secure cash handling procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate departments.
• Uphold company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related spa or hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spa/salon reservation software.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Basic cash handling and payment processing skills.
