Farsi to English Interpreter (Remote)

About the role

LanguageBees is seeking a full‑time remote Farsi to English Interpreter to enable seamless communication between Farsi‑speaking and English‑speaking clients. You will work on phone and virtual platforms, supporting medical, legal, and general customer‑service interactions while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to spoken Farsi and provide precise, culturally appropriate English interpretations.
• Interpret English responses back into Farsi, preserving tone, intent, and nuance.
• Handle calls across medical, legal, and general service domains following established protocols.
• Document session details as required and report any issues.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve language proficiency and domain knowledge.
• Collaborate with the support team to resolve technical or procedural challenges during calls.

Required profile

• Fluent in both Farsi and English with excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension abilities.
• Proven experience in interpretation or translation, preferably in a remote or call‑center environment.
• Strong professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Reliable high‑speed internet and comfort using computers, headsets, and virtual call‑center platforms.
• Effective time‑management skills and consistent full‑time availability.
• Relevant coursework or certification in interpretation, translation, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
