English & School Education Project Manager

About the role

The English & School Education Project Manager will lead funded education projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet stakeholder expectations, compliance standards, and financial targets. This role combines project oversight, stakeholder coordination, and data‑driven reporting to support educational outcomes across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close projects, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, suppliers, and contractors.
• Oversee procurement, contracting, and compliance activities, holding partners accountable for performance.
• Monitor financial performance, support budgeting, track expenditures, and produce timely financial reports.
• Develop risk‑management plans and implement mitigation strategies with senior stakeholders.
• Lead data collection, quality assurance, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to provide evidence‑based insights.
• Apply local education system knowledge to enhance project design and delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects from start to finish, including stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Strong command of Azerbaijani (C1) and English (C1/C2); Russian (B2) is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in English and/or Education (required); Master’s degree is a plus.
