Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to define, measure, automate, and improve the uptime of critical customer‑facing business processes. The focus is on service availability, transaction success, customer impact, operational continuity, and revenue protection.

Key responsibilities

• Define and improve uptime measurement for critical business processes and customer journeys.
• Build and maintain SLA/SLO/SLI dashboards, reliability reports, and customer‑impact monitoring.
• Create automation to detect, prevent, or reduce incidents and manual operational work.
• Improve alerting quality by focusing on actionable, business‑critical signals.
• Analyze incidents from a business‑impact perspective and drive preventive actions.
• Participate in a structured on‑call rotation, incident response, escalation, and follow‑up reliability improvements.
• Identify reliability gaps affecting customers, transaction success, revenue, or service availability.
• Introduce new reliability tools, dashboards, checks, and automation that improve uptime.

Required profile

• Experience with monitoring, alerting, observability, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of service reliability, uptime, availability, and customer impact.
• Ability to connect technical metrics with business impact.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation and improve incident response quality.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive improvements independently.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with developers, product owners, and support teams.

• ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry
• Kubernetes (basic hands‑on experience)
• Scripting with Python, Bash, Go
