Senior System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Administrator to lead the design, deployment and ongoing support of our on‑premise and cloud infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on server management with automation, monitoring and disaster‑recovery responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and support physical servers, SAN/NAS storage, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, MFA, user lifecycle management, and license administration.
• Configure and manage web and proxy servers such as Nginx and HAProxy.
• Manage containerized environments and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Work with CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Maintain monitoring and logging solutions, including Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, and the ELK Stack.
• Administer Veeam Backup & Replication, develop backup strategies, and conduct disaster‑recovery testing.
• Support disaster‑recovery planning aligned with RPO/RTO objectives.
• Perform basic administration of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and improve IT operational processes.
