Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a highly ambitious Senior Software Engineer to build systems that solve real problems at scale for short‑term rental operators. You will design, ship, and automate products that directly impact property managers, their teams, and guests. If you’re excited by APIs, automation, AI agents, cloud infrastructure, and building products from the ground up, we want to meet you.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and scale the Base360.ai platform, delivering APIs, services, and automation engines across the rental lifecycle.
• Build event‑driven workflows that automate tasks such as cleaning scheduling, guest communications, and owner reporting.
• Develop AI‑powered systems using LLMs and agents to streamline guest interactions and pricing decisions.
• Design and maintain integrations with Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, and other ecosystem partners.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance at global scale.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and owning production‑grade software systems.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React or comparable frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and balance speed with maintainability.
• Curiosity about AI, automation, and operational efficiency.
