Senior Data, Backend & Fullstack Engineers – Remote (Azerbaijan)

About the role

Proxima Tech is recruiting senior engineers to join a remote team based in Azerbaijan, working for a leading UAE healthcare technology group. The positions cover data engineering, backend development with Java/Spring Boot, and full‑stack development using React, React Native and .NET.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise batch and streaming data pipelines for a large‑scale health data platform.
• Develop secure, scalable microservices on Azure using Spring Boot and Java.
• Create responsive web and mobile applications with React, React Native, and .NET technologies.
• Implement data quality, validation and monitoring frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for PHI.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and other engineers to deliver reliable data products.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building production big‑data platforms (Data Engineer) or 10+ years of experience with Azure, Java/Spring Boot (Backend Engineer) or 10+ years of experience in full‑stack development (Fullstack Engineer).
• Strong background in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container orchestration.
• Experience with security best practices and API management.
